IGSN Syntax

Registration Service

The IGSN Registration Service at GFZ Potsdam makes use of the Handle System to assign globally unique identifiers that resolve to the URL of the web page at SESAR describing the sample. The service is composed of two sub-components:

• Handle Service operated by GFZ Potsdam (dc-app3-10.gfz-potsdam.de)
• IGSN registration servlet, providing a REST interface for the registration of IGSN and acting as a client to the local Handle Service. (dc-app1-02.gfz-potsdam.de)
