The task of creating a database to systematise the Global Gravity Models (GGMs) description can be divided into 4 sub-tasks:

• Designing metadata scheme in accordance with DataCite scheme
• Configuring the relational database and data mapping from DB to .xml
• Deploying the database within the ICGEM infrastructure
• Presenting the database to the users' benefit on the icgem website
